قالت شرطة مدينة سان خوسيه الأمريكية بولاية كاليفورنيا اليوم الإثنين، أن شخصين قُتلا، وأصيب اخرين بجروح خطيرة، بعد عملية طعن في كنيسة غريس المعمدانية وسط المدينة.
وأضافت الشرطة أنها توجهت للكنيسة، بعد تلقيها بلاغاً بخصوص حادث طعن، مؤكدة أنه لم يكن هناك قداس وقت الحادثة، انما كان هناك مشردون دخلوها بسبب البرد.

من جهته قال عمدة المدينة، سام ليكاردو في تغريدة نشرها عبر صفحته الشخصية على موقع التواصل الاجتماعي "تويتر":" أنه تم القبض على مشتبه به، معبراً عن حزنه وتضامنه مع أهالي الضحايا".

I’ve just deleted a tweet that made reference to the ongoing investigation into the stabbings at Grace Baptist Church this evening. A statement will be coming out shortly from SJPD regarding the status of the investigation and arrest.
